Terms of Use
Conditions for using this website and ordering from Bloematelier Merlijn.
Last updated: 25 July 2026
These terms apply to the website rappepiage.autos and to florist services offered by Bloematelier Merlijn, Haarlemmerstraat 84, 2312 GD Leiden, Netherlands. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
Bloematelier Merlijn is a florist shop in Leiden offering bouquets, accessories, occasion flowers, delivery, and business flower subscriptions. Contact: [email protected], +31 71 512 38 46.
2. Website information
Content on this website is for general information. Product availability, colours, and stem types change with the season. Photos are illustrative; your arrangement may differ based on daily supply while matching the agreed style and quality.
3. Orders and prices
- Orders can be placed by phone, email, in shop, or via the contact form. A binding order is confirmed when we accept it (by message, phone, or invoice).
- Prices are communicated in euros and include VAT unless stated otherwise, in line with Dutch consumer rules for retail florist sales.
- For custom weddings and large events we may request a deposit. Cancellation terms will be agreed in writing for those projects.
4. Delivery and pickup
Pickup is available at Haarlemmerstraat 84 during opening hours. Delivery in Leiden and nearby areas is offered Monday to Saturday subject to our route and capacity. Same-day delivery may be available when ordered before 12:00 on weekdays; it is not guaranteed if the route is full or weather prevents travel.
Please provide an accurate delivery address and reachable phone number. If nobody can receive the flowers, we may leave them in a safe agreed place or return them to the shop for pickup.
5. Fresh flowers
Flowers are perishable. We select fresh stems and advise on care, but longevity depends on home temperature, water, and handling. We are not liable for normal wilting after delivery or for allergic reactions; please inform us of known sensitivities when ordering for someone else if relevant to stem choice.
6. Consumer rights (Netherlands)
If you shop as a consumer in the Netherlands, statutory rights under Dutch civil law apply, including rules on conformity for goods. For distance contracts, cooling-off rights may apply to certain non-perishable accessories; perishable flowers prepared to your specification are typically exempt from withdrawal once preparation has begun. Ask us if you are unsure before ordering.
7. Liability
We provide florist services with due care. Our liability for damages is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order, except in cases of intent or gross negligence, or where Dutch law does not allow limitation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
8. Intellectual property
Texts, design, and branding on this website belong to Bloematelier Merlijn or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without permission.
9. Privacy
Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district of The Hague (Rechtbank Den Haag), without prejudice to mandatory consumer venue rules.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page applies to new orders and website visits after the update date.
